2008 Palisade Bike Festival Saturday, May 10th Saturday, May 10th, the Palisade Chamber of Commerce and the Town of Palisade hosted the Palisade Bike Festival - including the 4th Annual Palisade Classic Mountain Bike Race and the 4th Annual Fruit Loop Cycling Tour. Race attendance was ~64 riders between sport and expert categories. Racers rode either 20 or 25 miles on the new race course at Horse Mountain. The weather cooperated with rain the night before, creating perfect trail conditions on race day. The trails in the Horse Mountain area are growing and offer great riding with local Palisade access.   Palisade Bike Classic Race

Kyle, Kevin and Cam spent a couple days in the Grand Valley to get a feel for the riding and the people and the land here. We had a great time sharing a few of the local spots and riding with these guys. We took them up our local Stagecoach ride above Palisade on Friday. Cam and Kevin on their Coverts, and Kyle riding his BottleRocket 
Which tops out at a gorgeous slickrock face and ledge overlooking Palisade about 1000 feet below
